news for fall 2011

I am extremely excited to announce that I will be teaching Talbot’s calotype process at his very own house, the place where paper photography really began… Lacock Abbey You can find more info on the workshops here I can’t adequately describe how excited I am for this!

Other upcoming workshops include another Calotype class this Spring at the Center for Alternative Photography and workshops in Utah and at San Jose State University.

The exhibition Eclats de Photographie opened on the 25th of October in Bry-sur-Marne, France, featuring a bunch of great folks like Martin Becka, Anna Hammond and The Ostermans alongside yours truly… The show runs through the 15th of December, 2011.

My work is included in the new Issue (no. 11) of Her Royal Majesty, a very cool literary magazine based in Paris. Even James Franco is involved, somehow.

We are nearing the end of the first semester of Christopher James’ MFA Program in Photography at the Art Institute of Boston/Lesley University. I have one more trip up to see the students and their work, sometime in mid-December. It has already been an amazing and inspiring experience.
